It's not the language, it's the IDE in my opinion. People do terrible things in ALL languages. It just happens that most really bad programming seems to be done in VB--a paradox, as it's a modern language with some great features and strong typing. As a hardcore VB-developer I couldn't disagree with you more. The example above from the Daily WTF is only a sample of stupid programming, not proof that VB in itself is stupid... you can do the same stupid thing in Java, C# etc. just my personal 2c of course Dear Elliot,
