Islam is not a book. Islam is not a relegion. Islam is nothing, if its not what its followers and adherents DO!

The only method rational people have to judge it, is by what its adherents DO! Not by what a book says.

The actions and actvities of muslims speak loud and clear, and demonstrate exactly what islam is!

LET’S PUT ASIDE ALL THE PROPAGANDA SUPPORTING ISLAM.
Fundamentally, Islam is anti-enlightenment and spurns non-critical thinkers. Muslims are taught to hate Jews, ****, infidels (non-believers), the West, etc., etc. Every post-secondary student in every Arab country has the proven forgery “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” on his required reading list. The Arab countries embed anti-semitic and anti-infidel rants and racist blather in their school curricula, in spite of Saudi Arabia’s pronouncements that it has gotten rid of these references in the school texts…not so. Many muslims treat their women as chattel and condone honours killings. The Q’uran condones the violent treatment and repression of women. The author and former radical muslim fundamentalist, Hursi Ali, (who renounced her Muslim religion for its illogic and barbarism) educated Holland and now Americans that honour killings were not uncommon exported Muslim practices in those countries. If you can imagine, honour killings and beating of women are also carried out by muslim men in Canada (These murders and beatings should not be described by apologist for Islam as simply examples of domestic violence.).
Quite frankly, if muslims in our Canadian communities are not prepared to freely mix with non-muslims and show tolerance for those who are not of their ilk, we don’t need or want you in Canada.
As tolerant Canadians, many of us have woken up to the insidious and malicious muslim intolerance, racism, medievalism, and barbarism (e.g., public beheadings and floggings, etc.)
By-the-way, the formal Q’uranic penalty for a muslim’s renouncement of islam, as Hursi Ali did, is death! Who needs these medieval values and attitudes in our Canadian communities?

Regarding the claim of Islam being a religion of peace, how did it spread if it was that peaceful? By war. By killing. If you look into the history of Spain, it was by conquest not by any fictional peace that Moors ruled part of S. Europe.

And regarding the matter of taxation, non-Muslims were tolerated because they could be taxed without limit, whereas Believers had a set percentage of income that could be taxed. Non-Muslims had all kinds of restrictions which today would be part of an Apartheid system. It is also fiction that we all lived side by side in harmony: it was Muslims ruling over Christians and Jews in Spain and everywhere else.

Islam is the newcomer: Islam has been at war against Judaism and Christianity for 1400 years and it still is. To think otherwise is to stick one’s head in the sand. Get real.
