The power light turned orange while the other lights remain green. I unplugged it and restarted it and the power light is green and then orange again after 2 seconds. I occasionally have to power off/on the router as it sometimes slows down. i have optimium boost from cablevision and sometimes i notice the big difference. i unplug it and power it back up and all is well. You'll get twice the options and the ability to turn up the range; among other things. Unless you're integrating this into your business, there is no need to buy Cisco cert gear.
