Speakeasy is not what it seems to be...I thought they were great at first too. They do have great customer service, but they will sell you anything and not tell you what it costs until you rack up the money. I have had speakeasy broadband now for 3 months and my bill is over $1,000. They promised rebates that have never been sent and the first month was supposedly free, but they neglected to tell me that I was too far from the central office and that my line would never hold up at any kind of constant speed. So the conveniently told me I needed a lower speed IDSL and charged me for installation, which they didn't tell me either. My speed is so low now, I can't even get voice to go over it and stay consistent, so had to get that from Bellsouth. It's been a horrible mess with them and I'm about ready to complain to the Better Business Bureau.....beware, things aren't always as pretty as they seem.
