Modern Street Morals
If you’re a concerned parent, or just wondering why kids grow up and commit crimes, I’ll toss out the rap connection again with this lyric from 50 Cent’s The Massacre, on a song called My Toy Soldier:

A translation for the sheltered erudite:

That’s why the District Attorneys know me!
They know about my crimes, murders, street life, and my MAC-10.
In other words, some of the songs that regulary break into the top-40 popular music charts and get played all across America advocate extremely abnormal, criminal behavior. It’s disingenuous that the lifestyle gets labelled cool. Do you really want the DA’s on you?

To all the concerned parents:be involved in every facet of your child’s life,show them the unconditional love and admiration they so truly deserve and i promise you 50 cent or any other ”rapper” for that matter will be recognized for what they are ,”Entertainers”.Dont cop out and let the entertianment industry raise your children,be vigilant in the upbringing,they might not like it now but they’ll love you for it later!Peace!

He’s a rapper!It’s just entertianment,”We” know he’s not walkin around shooting people with a mac-10.I dont see anyone bashing horror movies,or serial killer novels which glorify the killers themselves,or what about heavy metal?Pick any band,any song, and all you will get is self mutilation,devil worship,and i’ve even heard ”kill your mom! in one verse,now thats some sociopathic ****!Your lame *** translation is way off!!
