Agreed, the battery life on this thing sucks very much. I can't believe how many times this stupid thing is dead. Then try to use it when it's charging, oh no can't do that. It's not like it's plugged in or anything, for chrisakes.

Ripoff. That's all I think every time I see it now.

Iphone is very good beautiful and impressive technology but monopolised. World market is now like buying eggs from old village.
Second Accelorometer, battery claims of iphone are not correct. both batter life is less i mean very less then claim and accelorometer only work for 1 day.
Good Luck Apply for iphone.

I am having terrible problems with my iPhone battery life. I travel extensively in business, and am not even able to use this phone because the battery life is so bad. I contacted Apple and demanded to have the whole phone replaced since I dont want repairs on a model that appearantly has manufacturing issues. They then replaced the phone, but I was disappointed that they replaced it with another phone that start with the serial number with the most complaints on poor battery life! For about 3 weeks the new iPhone battery life seemed great and it was a tremendous improvements. But it is starting to have the same problems as the first phone:
My iPhone will be fully recharged but drain after only 30 min talktime. Or, I can recharge the phone, leave it off and by the next morning it has drained 30-40% of battery life while turned off. The other day I started adding contact details in the phone features and could see the battery drain while watching it(!). When fully charged, the battery will completely drain in two days even if not in use.
Apple has given me the excuse that its the adapter that cause these problems (yet they have not provided me with a new adapter). However, I have 3 adapters... is it really realistic that all 3 adapters have this fault? Apple has told me that since I replaced the phone already I cannot make another replacement. But how does that justify that they have given me a replacement of a model that has the serial of common problem-model for poor battery life?
Now I am beyond my return policy period, and beyond canceling ATTs plan and am stuck with a phone I can't even use!

MY RECOMMENDATION: DONT BUY THE IPHONE. ITS BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT BUT I HEAR MORE AND MORE PEOPLE HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS AS I HAVE, AND APPLE DONT OFFER SUFFICIENT SUPPORT TO REPLACE THE PHONE BUT WILL ONLY "REPAIR" IT - ON YOUR COST OF TIME AND MONEY.

I got an Apple iPhone on 6/29. After having it a day I want to get rid of it.

TOP FOUR DESIGN FLAWS:

1. Apple went wrong in having a built in battery.
The battery life is horrible. Ive been recharging it for sevral hours. It seems if I'm charging the phone and want to use it it won't let me and only shows the charging icon. My Samsung Blackjack came with 2 batterys and a charger case so the battery can charge even if it's not on the phone.

2. Can't purchase iTunes content from your iPhone.
Also you can't download iTunes purchases directly to the iPhone. You have to download them to a computer and then connect the iPhone to the computer and sync up.

3. No expandable slot.
If your iPhone dies you have no way of getting your data to somewhere you can use it because there is no removable slot for an SD card.

4. The camera is only a camera and you can't view and click.
The camera phone is only that, i.e. you can't do videos. The Samsung Blackjack has video capability. Also, it's difficult to take a self picture on the iPhone because the camera is on the opposite side of the view screen and you have no place of reference like you would with a button b/c the iPhone is a touch screen. I had a Samsung pocket PC that had a swivel camera lens that allowed you to view and take the picture at the same time. It was wonderful.
