Hi,
I read your post and finds it quite interesting. As for the removing of apps, I am sure you do know that we cannot throw the blame all on Apple. The App Store is there to serve us, and the problem with us (consumers) is that we are too confused often. We complain too much in some way. At present we are just unhappy that the censorship for App Store is not transparent. I feel pity for those guys who jokingly bought I Am Rich, that was a costly joke. Apple have no choice when it comes to copyright infringement and when there is an uproar against an application for some reasons (Slasher)Apple has to listen and act again. Anyways I have compiled the whole list of applications removed so far and the related reasons. You can look here for reference http://www.iphonefootprint.com/2008/08/complete-list-of-removed-apps-app-store/. And also have covered on the mystery of the App Store http://www.iphonefootprint.com/2008/08/app-store-hacked/.
