Windows XP: “No To All” Button Shortcut
I didn’t know this but if you’ve ever been copying a lot files, and you get the “replace the existing file” error message dialog, you can actually shift click on no to choose no for all files. I’ve been moving some photos around on the wifi in my home, and I copied half last night; today, I don’t want to copy them again (they’re quite large) so this trick saved me a bit of time!
Matt is not Wordpress
Matt Mullenweg is the creator of Wordpress, but recently his blog entries feature mostly galleries of jealousy-inducing photographs taken on jaunts around the globe on some high-end camera equipment. Few, if any, have anything to do with the Wordpress blogging software. Most Wordpress-focused posts now come from the official Wordpress blog.
Since half of the items in my dashboard are currently irrelevant to me as a Wordpress user, hopefully the time is approaching when Matt’s personal feed will be replaced or removed.
NYC MTA Subway LED Glitch
Saw this error on the NYC N-Train line the other day–the LCD display, which indicates upcoming stops and route information was totally in error. Waves of pixels just washed across the screen, it was surreal and beautiful.
